- folded dipole antenna
- An antenna composed of two parallel, closely spaced dipole antennae connected at their ends, with one fed at its center. The folded dipole antenna is the same size, and has the same radiation pattern, as an ordinary dipole antenna, but the feed-point impedance is four times as large. See dipole antenna.
